How They Met

Eric and Sam met in 2006 when they locked eyes from across the room at their pre-college class at Cornell. Nothing happened after that, besides a kiss (no big deal).  After those few weeks, they went back home and didn’t see or think or one another.

Almost 9 years later in December of 2014, Sam was attending an event at Webster Hall and Eric also happened to be there for a music event. At the end of the night, Sam spotted Eric at the bar, so she walked over to say hello. Eric didn’t recognize her at first, but they got to talking and haven’t stopped since!

Sam and Eric got married on a chilly, yet beautiful day in the barn at Perona Farms in northern New Jersey. Originally supposed to get married in November 2020, the couple postponed their wedding a year (thank you, pandemic), but the wait made the day even more special.

Although it was cold, Sam and Eric laughed and made the most of their outdoor portraits. The photos by the water and in the corridor of the pine trees were some of their favorites! Everything looked so beautiful and romantic with the sun shining down on them.

 

Their Favorite Part of the Day

The couples favorite part of their wedding day was the performances and speeches. Eric performed a song with his friends that he wrote for his and Sam’s relationship. Sam said it was so exciting to see the joy that being back on stage brought to Eric.
